Solairus Opens Denver Office, Adds Two Large Cabin Charter Aircraft

Oakland, CA based Bombardier Challenger 604 and an Oregon-based Global Express to join Solairus’ fully managed charter fleet.

SAN FRANCISCO (May 12, 2011) -

Solairus Aviation has announced the opening of a new office at Centennial Airport in Denver, CO. The new office will augment and support the company's established East and West Coast operations and will play a key role in providing client support throughout the Mountain States. Solairus tapped Brian Moss to head the new office and to act as a local contact for regional partners and clients. Moss is excited to be a part of the company's latest expansion.  "Our new office location is perfect, and the timing for its grand opening is ideal," Moss said. "As the company continues to expand, having regional representation to better serve our clients has become increasingly important. Our new office is located at one of the nation's highest rated FBOs, less than 30 minutes from downtown. I am confident that Denver is going to be an excellent market for Solairus and I am pleased to be here representing our great company."

Solairus is also pleased to be welcoming new additions to its managed West Coast charter fleet, adding two large cabin aircraft in May.  These two aircraft, a Bombardier Global Express and a Challenger 604, are currently undergoing Part 135 conformity inspections and will be available for charter upon completion.

Solairus Chairman and CEO Dan Drohan attributed the recent fleet and infrastructure additions to the company's safety and service culture.

"2011 is off to a good start for Solairus," Drohan stated. "We've added seven new aircraft to our charter fleet, opened a new office in Denver and have forged several new corporate partnerships within the first four months of the year. During this same period of time, Solairus was also awarded the NBAA Flying Safety Award, recognizing our team-members for their exceptional achievements in maintaining safe flight and ground operations. This award is a testament to the high degree of professionalism and care inherent in Solairus’ operations, and it is a tribute to the skill of our administrative and maintenance staff, flight crew and support teams. I am very proud of all of them and I know that their efforts will continue to help our company grow."

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Rapidly rising Aircraft Charter & Management company adds a Hawker 800SP to charter fleet and reports Gulfstream IV already in conformity.

SAN FRANCISCO (Dec 20, 2010) -

Solairus Aviation has announced the addition of two aircraft to its charter fleet. The company has already experienced an impressive level of growth throughout 2010 and will end the year in the same fashion with these new aircraft. A San Antonio, TX based Hawker 800SP has been added to the company’s certificate, and a Van Nuys, CA based Gulfstream IV is currently undergoing conformity inspections and will be available within weeks.

Solairus’ VP of Charter Sales, Craig Zirzow, is excited to see the company’s Texas and Southern California market share continue to grow.

“Texas is a very important market for Solairus,” said Zirzow. “We’ve had a Challenger RJ/SE based there for some time now, and the addition of the mid-size Hawker 800SP will give our clients even more options when planning their trips. We’re also very optimistic about the Gulfstream IV’s potential for the company. We get a lot of requests to and from Southern California, and having an aircraft like the VNY based Gulfstream IV in our fleet will ensure that we can continue to meet and exceed our client’s expectations."

Zirzow indicates that there is a strong demand for the company’s charter fleet and said Solairus continues to seek leaseback relationships with aircraft operators all over the U.S. “We simply need more aircraft to meet the demand for our services. It’s a great place to be!”

Solairus Aviation announced today that it has released the company's first mobile application. The Solairus Mobile App allows users the ability to view actual one-way flights the moment they become available. Additionally, utilizing the application's Auto-Notify feature, users can enter custom search criteria that instructs the application to alert them of flights to and from specified cities of interest. One-way flight data is fed from IPC Logistics' Oasis 5.0 in real-time. An employee-only version of the mobile application features a customized Risk Assessment Tool for Solairus aircrew and management personnel.

Designed as a web-based application, the Solairus Mobile App is untethered from third party app store restrictions and has been confirmed to work flawlessly on Apple's iPad and iPhone, the Motorola Droid, and the BlackBerry Torch, among others.

Visit www.solairusaviation.com/mobile to download the Solairus Aviation Mobile App at no cost.

CEO Dan Drohan believes that the Solairus Mobile App will greatly increase the company's one-way charter flight sales, as well as the overall exposure to the company's fleet in the marketplace.

“I am thrilled with the result of our team's effort on this project, and I truly believe that tools like this application represent the future of marketing air charter online. As an industry, we have to be looking to do things more efficiently and cost effectively, and technology is obviously a big part of that. Our mobile app makes finding one-way flights easier than ever, and the functions that are available internally to Solairus' flight crew are phenomenal time saving tools,” Drohan said. “Technology never stands still, so it goes without saying that we will be continuously adding features to the Solairus App, several of which are already in the final stages of development.”

Solairus Aviation Actively Developing iPad and iPhone Apps

Initial release on schedule for a September distribution date.

August 31, 2010

SAN FRANCISCO -

Solairus Aviation is pleased to announce that all-new Solairus apps for Apple’s iPad and iPhone have passed the initial phases of development and will soon be ready for distribution. Utilizing the latest Apple iOS SDK technology, the Solairus iPad/iPhone applications will be fed Solairus’ charter fleet data from IPC Logistics powered Oasis 5.0, giving users the ability to see availability status updates in real time. A charter flight quotation tool and aircraft-specific details, as well as several features that will aid and assist Solairus employees and flight crew personnel will also be included in the initial release. By simultaneously focusing on clients and employees, developers are working to ensure that the Solairus iPad/iPhone apps become powerful hand held extensions of the company-wide enterprise system.

The application will be offered at no cost and will be available for download at www.solairusaviation.com in late September.

Solairus President John King sees the iPad/iPhone apps as an extension of the company’s core philosophy.

“Because our clients and our employees are the heart of Solairus, we always strive to focus on the human aspect of the business.” King said. “So when we studied our website’s analytics that showed a significant number of visitors using Apple’s iPad and iPhone, we knew we needed to have a tool in place for that audience. Most of our employees use these products as well, so again, it made good business sense to give them something they could use to help make their job more manageable. We believe that technology should be embraced and we will continue to use new innovations to help our charter and management clients, and our employees, conduct business in the most efficient manner available.”
